Bitumen Performance Grade (PG)

Bitumen Performance Grade (PG) is an advanced asphalt binder classification system developed under the Superpave methodology to evaluate pavement performance under actual climatic and traffic conditions. Unlike traditional penetration and viscosity grading systems, PG bitumen is selected according to expected pavement temperatures and traffic loading requirements.
